A year in the life… at Creative Output
Posted on Oct 21, 2022
In the coming weeks I will officially have been apart of the Creative output family for a full year, and what a year it has been.
The variety of the job is something I have learned to love and wouldn’t have it any other way, from sitting at the desk one minute, to helping unload vehicles the next – come rain or shine.
Creative Output has only been trading since 2019, and with the COVID pandemic it was certainly a different company to what it is today. When I started at the company the events industry had only just really started to find its feet again, and so it has been amazing to be on the journey with Creative Output and watch it grow.
One of our key messages is to always be as sustainable as we can, I have learnt so much from my team on how we can use cardboard to create a variety of items including furniture and roller banners, it is fascinating - we also like to reuse any items we have already in stock and upcycle where needed… no wastage here! This is where I get to be creative - upcycling and doing the hands-on creative stuff is certainly a love of mine. I always find that the events come to life with every small detail.
We are a small team, but a proactive one that will put our hands to most things. However big or small, I love seeing an event come together. There is something so magical in turning a space into something completely different. I also like to think of myself as an organised human and so the fulfilment jobs keep me entertained in between the events.
Here is to another year – watching the company develop and grow, I can not wait!
